Finally, vocal coaching that has:

  1. Evidence-based techniques

  2. Neurodivergent learners in mind

  3. Advice beyond "just feel it"

Why Choose Singing Lessons at Radiant Voice Academy?

You've been told to "just feel it."

You've left lessons more confused than when you walked in.

You've started to wonder if the problem is you.

It isn't.

The voice is an instrument with anatomy, mechanics, and rules that are teachable.

Every instruction in your lesson has a reason behind it.

Every technique is grounded in voice science.

If we can't explain the why, it doesn't belong in your lesson.

This is singing taught the way it should have been taught the first time.

Your First Lesson & What Actually Happens

You arrive. We talk.

The first minutes are conversation only.

We work out what you want, what you've tried before, and what's making you nervous.

Then we do a gentle vocal assessment.

Nothing performative, just enough for me to understand where your voice is right now.

By the end of the session, you'll know:

  • What's actually happening with your voice

  • What we'd work on together

  • Whether we're a good fit

No pressure. No surprises. No "perform for me to prove you deserve to be here."

If you're neurodivergent, sensory-sensitive, anxious, or you've had bad experiences with teachers before, tell me.

I'll meet you where you are.

Meet Sam

I'm a contemporary vocal coach based in Craigieburn, Melbourne, and I teach voice differently from most studios.

I spent years in singing lessons that didn't work: vague instructions, "just feel it," and teachers who could sing beautifully but couldn't explain why something worked.

The frustration sent me looking for the science:

Anatomy, acoustics, neurology.

What I found changed how I sing and how I teach.

Radiant Voice exists for the students who don't fit standard voice coaching.

Learners who need the why before the how, who think structurally, who've been told they "aren't getting it" when the real problem was how it was being taught.

If that sounds like you or someone you teach, you're in the right place.

What Students Have To Say

“Sam is an amazing vocal coach! He made me feel super comfortable throughout the lesson and was able to help me work through vocal blocks. Will definitely continue to see Sam as a vocal coach and recommend him to anyone looking to find their singing voice!”

Michael E, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Review

“Had Sam as my music/singing teacher and have booked in 10 more sessions. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Very concise and is able to convert complex concepts into simple and actionable ones; I have grown so much in my singing and it is all thanks to Sam just after the first couple of sessions! Couldn't recommend him enough!”

James Y, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Review

“Sam has been coaching my son for almost a year. In that time he has blossomed.”
