Finally, Vocal Coaching That Works With Your Brain

I am Sam - a neurodivergent vocal coach who uses voice science to help singers break through plateaus without the frustration.

No rigid methods.

No one-size-fits-all.

Just clear, evidence-based coaching tailored to how you actually learn.

Our Philosophy

Singing should feel powerful, not frustrating.

Most vocal training treats every student the same. You get handed a method and told to make it work.

If it does not click, that is your problem.

I do it differently.

I use a flexible toolkit of techniques - primarily drawn from Estill Voice Training - that I adapt to you.

Your goals. Your voice. Your learning style.

If you are neurodivergent, I get it.

I will not give you vague instructions and expect you to "feel" your way through.

I will explain what is happening in your body, why it matters, and provide concrete exercises you can practise.

If you have had bad experiences with lessons before, you are not alone.

A lot of my students come to me frustrated, thinking they are "not musical" or "tone deaf."

Usually, they just had the wrong teacher.

This is a no-judgment space.

I will go at your pace.

I focus on what you want to achieve.

I do not teach "my way." I teach you to understand your own instrument so you can make informed choices about your voice.

Meet Sam

I am a contemporary vocal coach based in Craigieburn, Melbourne.

My teaching is built on voice science, real performance experience, and a deep understanding of how neurodivergent brains learn.

I am neurodivergent myself - diagnosed with ASD and ADHD.

This is not a marketing angle.

It is the reason I coach the way I do.

I spent years in singing lessons that did not work for me.

Vague instructions. "Just feel it." Teachers who could not explain why something worked.

I know how frustrating it is to be told you are "not getting it" when the real problem is how it is being taught.

That frustration led me to voice science.

I wanted to understand the mechanics - what is actually happening in your body when you sing.

Once I understood that, everything changed.

Now, I teach the way I wish someone had taught me:

clearly, logically, and with respect for how your brain works.
